I was born in San Francisco in 1933 and is a Professor of Philosophy. Right after serving in the U.S. Navy abroad the heavy cruiser, USS Rochester (CA 123) as a radar-guy and gunner, principally in the South China Sea, from 1954 - 58, I attended the College of San Francisco, getting a B.A. in philosophy in 1963 I studied in philosophy at the College of California, Berkeley, 1963-65, prior to coming into the graduate philosophy program at the College of New York, obtaining a Ph.D. in philosophy f |
