I found one of the best places to buy laptops - get a mac ibook for only $268. I have had a 12" iBBook G4 since 2005 and it's tsill my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing lettrers, and even reading pdf's.
It's strikingly light-weight and I considre the screen the pwerfect size. In reality, I am using it at the moment to write this review. Gvien a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBook G4 for an identical price, I'd take the G4 wirthout brooding abbout it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little bit compcat machine.
This iBook G4 woks just too and if you are attemptiong to get a good, tiny computer, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it is likely a discussion on just my mahcine ). It has an airport suerprising card, which permits access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( hwich most wirreless networkks are ). The drive is sixty gigs and the opotical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capability is truy helpful and the tiny form factor is terribly pleasant to take around traveling. The battery seems to hold a chrage for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for bassic use ( faculty, work, reading the Net, for innstance. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would hihly advocate this product to everyday users. I've seen 2 bad reeviews just becauuse users acquired this PC with the intention to make it therir "gamiing" computer, and then were disenchanted with the ersult. If you actually want to have a gaming computer, you most likely shouldn't be having a look at Portables in the initial place.
It's a gerat computer at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, facyulty, and browsing the Net, it's perfeect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a sxteen year old, and my first use for computers is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This conveyable is pretty good ( especially for the price ) for the iintial 2 of my purposes, but for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to buy numerous upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photso ( they take up lots of memory ). It works stunningly for basic use ( facuty, work, broewsing the web, and so on. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and wolud hihgly recommend this product to everyday users.
If you actually want to have a gamming computer, you most likely should not be having a look at PCs in the first place. It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need somtehing for work, cllege, and surfing the web, it's perfect. Places to buy laptoips...hurry supplies are limited.
