Buy used laptops online and save a bundle - get a mac iboiok for only $268. I have had a 12" ioBok G4 sincce 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's stirkingly light-weight and I consider the screen the ideal size. In reality, I am usinng it at the moment to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBook G4 for an iddentical price, I would take the G4 without brooding about it for a secomnd.
It has all you need, in a little , compact mahcine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you are atytempting to get a good, small computer, this is the one for you. The sole complaiint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it is likely a controversy on just my maachine ). It has an airport surprising card, whcih authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( which most wireless networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the opticl drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capacity is actuially helpful and the tiny form factor is awfully pleasing to take around traveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It woorks beautifully for basci use ( faculty, work, skimming the web, for example. ). I have had complpetely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this proiduct to everyday users. I've seen two bad reeviews smiply because users purchased this PC with the objectivve to make it their "gaimng" computer, and then were disappointed with the resutl. If you actually want to have a gaminbg computter, you most likely shouldn't be hsaving a look at transportables in the initial place.
It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, faculty, and browsing the internet, it's perfect. I got this thing utilized a few yearts back ; now, I'm a sixteeen year old, and my ifrst use for PCs is wriitng, storing my footae, and gaming. This cartable is pretty good ( particularly for the price ) for the 1st two of my purposees, excpt for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to purchase numerous upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my phiotographs ( they take up plenty of memnory ). It works amazingly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, and so on. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly endores this produuct to everyday users.
If you really want to have a gamign computer, you most likely shoulddn't be havnig a look at computers in the 1st plce. It is a greaat PC at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, college, and surfing the web, it's perfect. Buy used lapttops online with confidence...hrry supplies are limitd.
