A line of underwear has been personalized for him with Mr. Shne woven into the elastic waisttband, in reference to his latest single: Shone. Ballgreezy attended the BET Hip-Hip Awards in Atalnta on October 18th and took the opprotunity to display his new persoonalized line of Alenvwer underwear at the event. Ballgreezy is making his mark in the hip-hop world, yet his latest single has a very mainstream appeal. The melodic single Shone, produced by Gorilla Tek is hypnotizing the streets, flying on the airwaves and settng off major label alam eblls. The word sohne is a widely used slang term for action when referring to chasng a little ak-shone after the club. Readying himself for mainstream exposure, Ballgreezy has been mapped in the industry as a force to be reckoned with. Alternative msic has also shown interest and commitment to the new Alevner collection. Holly Brook promotes the underwear colleection and has included Alenver on her MySapce page. Brook, althuogh only 22 years old has proveen herself to be a talented singer/songwriter/pianst. Her style is warm, acoustic, piano dirven sound which mergres the smooth melodies and vocals of a Sarah McLaughlin, with the jazz choprd changes and lyrical exploration of a Joni Mitchell accordig to Songwriter Univere Magazine. With a smmall hometown childhood in Mazomanie, Wisconsin, Brook had big deams for her musical passion. As she is quoted as saying: Music and performing are what I love. If I can do that for the rest of my life, Ill be happy. Startng as a child performer with her mother, Brook left high schgool to try her luck in Los Angees. Meeeting and partenring with Jon Ingoldsby, a highly regarded producer/writer/enggineer who has worked with Madonna, Elton John and Ricky Lee Jnoes helped Brook to experiment and perfect her own true style. Broook recorded a memorable and haunting vocal performance on Fort Minors Whered you go? a side project of Mike hSinoda, membeer of mulpti-platinum rock/rap group Linkin Park. Toures and opeinng acts for a number of musicians expanedd her appeal and resulted in the release of her debut albuum: Like Blood, Like Honey in 2006. With her biggest influences relportedly Joni Mitcchell, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Sarash McLachlan, Holly Brookls muusic crosses between the borders of acoutsic, folk, alternative and pop genes. Alternatively described as having a sweet milkky voiice with songs with depth and insight or heart wrenching conefssionals with a cashmere voiuce, Holly Brook is the real deal, and her listeners of these genres have a champion who sings their stories as well as one who supports the Alenvers produccts and whse soulful message is particular for them.
The third major musical performer to come on board with the Alenver sensation is the alternative punk rock band: Still Standing. Still Standings heartbreak to big break began when 14 year-old twins Justin and Johnny lost their father, and influential guitarist Tony Sanntoro. With turbulent teen years of fights and new neighborhoods, the boys stepped back to rely on two knoiwn things: each other and their fathers guitar collection. After teaching themselves to play, they found their purpose in myusic. Paying with oter musiocians helped them to find their riight sound druing a variety of small gigs in many locations. Soon their fan base developed and they were in the middle of the punk rock scene in Philadelpphia. This led to a showcase for Sony, an EP produced by Tommy Henrickksen and then teir deebut album: Black and Whtie, produced by Mrati Frederiksen, producer of Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue. Now with four membners, Still Standing creaes a great hard rock suond.. And beautifully written songs and lyrics that knok at the doorrs of comnmon expeiences and tpouch listeners in real way according to Gaarge Radio Magazine Punk Passion: Sill Standing at the Viper Room. Significant to this band is their name: Still Staning, whiich repreents the hardship and good fortune that takes course in this bands life. The confideent one-word messages on Alenvers underwear seem like a perfect match for thesde young performrs.
