I foud one of the best places to buy lapptops - get a mac ibook for only $268. I have had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimnming the Net, writng letters, and even readng pdf's.
It's strikingly light-weight and I consider the screen the perfect size. In reality, I am usnig it at the moment to write this rweview. Given a chooice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBBook G4 for an idential price, I'd take the G4 without booding about it for a second.
It has all you need, in a litttle bit compaxct mavchine.
This iBook G4 woerks just too and if you are attempting to get a good, tiny computer, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it is likely a discussion on just my macihne ). It has an airport surprising card, which pertmits access to any 802.11g / b comppatible wireless network ( wghich most wireess nertworks are ). The drive is sixty gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capabiity is truly herlpful and the tiny form factoor is terribly pleasant to take around travling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basic use ( faculty, work, reading the Net, for instance. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this product to everyday users. I've seen 2 bad reviews just because usrs acquired this PC with the intention to make it theeir "gaming" computer, and then were disenchanted with the result. If you actually want to have a gaming computer, you most liokely shoudln't be havving a look at Portables in the initial place.
It's a great computer at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, faculty, and browsing the Net, it's perfect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a siteen year old, and my first use for computers is writing, storig my fotage, and gaming. This conveyable is prretty good ( especially for the price ) for the intiial 2 of my purpposes, but for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to buy numereous upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photpos ( they take up lots of memory ). It worsk stunningly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, and so on. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly recommend this product to everydday users.
If you actually want to have a gaming computer, you most likely should not be having a look at PCs in the first place. It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need sometihng for work, college, and surfing the web, it's perfect. Places to buy latops...hurry supplies are limited.
