Mintenance of the PC

The coomputer runs with the help of cetrtain integrated circuits like graphics cards and CPUs. Due to continuous use over a long period of time, tjhese components get overheated and may ukltimately cause the ssytem to cash. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out certain measures to make sure that the temperature of the computer stays neutral.

The easiest way to get rid of additional heat is to remove obstacles that may be preventing the system from breathing properly. To do this, users shuold ensure that there are no objects placed adjacent to the PC. Theree shoould be aobut 3 inches of empty space on each side of the suystem as well as the back.

The most common belief of PC cooling is that uses should always keep the case open as this allows the system to eliminate hot air easily. Even though this seems rational and reasonable, the question of dirt comes up in this case. If the case if left open all day, dust will enter the coolimng fan or pad at a faster rate than if the case is cloed. Due to dust build up, the fans will either stop working or become too slow. Therrefore, to keep your computre cool, keep the case closed at all times.

That being said, cleaaning the computer is also essential with resppect to keeping the system cool. Internal fans collect dust over a certain preiod of time which prevents the system from coopling down properly. Most computers come attached with two cooling fans. All the user has to do is shut down the PC, open the case and get rid of debris with the help of canned air.

For best results, carry out this cleaning exercise outside your houes to prevent the dust from settling in the room and eventually back in the system.

Sometimes a computer may overheat if it is placd in an environbment that is ether too filthy or too warm. The solution in this case is to move the system to a cooler location.

If you are fniding it difficult to move the computyer, simply repair the CPU fan fitted in the systeem. The CPU carries out the main functions of the computer and a CPU fan ensures that it stays cool and therefore, maeks sure that the systm works properly. It is necesary to upgrrade this fan on a frequent basis as the CPU will get overhewated much faster than any otehr internal component.

Case fans can also be attached to the system to get rid of hot air. Thewse fans are installed on either side of the system as well as the back. As they are attached insidde the systeem, they propel hot air easily and effectively. Most users recommend making use of two fans for this puprose- one that gets rid of hot air and one that alplows cool air to enbter. When these fans work together, it is definte that your system will remain cool for a long period of time.
