I found one of the best places for cheapest laptops to buy - get a mac ibook for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even readng pdf's.
It's amazinfgly lihgt-weight and I consider the screen the perfect size. In fact, I am using it at this time to write this reeview. Givne a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBBook G4 for a similar price, I might take the G4 witout brooding about it for a second.
It has all that you need, in a little , compact machinbe.
This iBpook G4 woerks just too and if you're attempting to discover a good, small PC, this is the one for you. The sole complpaint I do have is that the CD-dreive doesn't work ( but it's probable an argument on just my machine ). It has an airpotr surprising card, which permits access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless newtwork ( which most wireless newtorks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi cpability is actaully useful and the tiny form favctor is awfully pleasing to take around traveling. The batrtery seems to hold a chargfe for 2+ hous. It woreks beautifully for basic use ( faculty, work, readinng the Net, for instancce. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this product to everyday users. I have seen two bad rviews just because users purchaased this PC with the intention to make it their "gaming" computer, and then were disenchanted with the result. If you really would like to have a gaming PC, you most luikely should not be tking a look at Portables in the initial place.
It is a great computer at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, faculty, and brrowsing the internet, it's perferct. I got this thing utilized a few yeears back ; now, I am a sixteen year old, and my firsst use for PCs is writing, stroing my footage, and gaming. This portable is rather good ( particularly for the prrice ) for the 1st 2 of my purposes, but for gaimng, it was way, well below par. We had to get countless upgtrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photos ( they take up masses of mempory ). It works stunningly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, for example. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly recommend this product to everyday users.
If you really wish to have a gamiing PC, you possibyl shouldn't be having a look at computers in the first place. It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you simply need someting for work, college, and surfing the web, it's perfect. cheapet laptops to buy...hurry suppliews are limited.
