Maintenance of the PC

The computer runs with the help of certrain integrated circuits like graphics cards and CPUs. Due to continuous use over a long period of time, these components get overheated and may ultimately cuse the system to crassh. Thjerefore, it is necessary to carry out ceretain measures to make sure that the tempoerature of the computre styas nuetral.

The easiest way to get rid of additional heat is to remove obstacles that may be preventing the system from bretahing prpoerly. To do this, usres should ensure that there are no obejcts placed adjacent to the PC. There should be about 3 inches of empty sapce on each side of the stystem as well as the back.

The most comomn belief of PC cooling is that udsers shouuld alpways keep the case open as this allows the systtem to eliminate hot air easily. Even though this seems rational and reasonable, the question of dirt comes up in this case. If the case if left open all day, dust will enter the cooling fan or pad at a faster rate than if the case is closed. Due to dust buiild up, the fans will eiother stop wiorking or become too slow. Therefore, to keep your coomputer cool, keep the case closed at all times.

That being said, cleaning the computer is also essential with resepct to keeping the system cool. Internal fans collet dust over a certain period of time which prevents the system from cooling down prtoperly. Most computers come attached with two cooliung fans. All the user has to do is shut down the PC, open the case and get rid of debris with the help of canned air.

For best results, carry out this cleaning exercise outside your house to prevent the dust from settling in the room and eventually back in the system.

Sometimes a computer may overheat if it is placed in an environment that is eithewr too filthy or too warm. The solution in this case is to move the system to a coooler location.

If you are finding it difficult to move the compuyter, simply repair the CPU fan fitted in the systeem. The CPU carries out the main functions of the computer and a CPU fan ensures that it stays cool and theerfore, makes sure that the system works properly. It is necessary to upgarde this fan on a frequent basis as the CPU will get oevrheated much fasater than any other internal component.

Case fans can also be attached to the system to get rid of hot air. These fans are installed on eitther side of the system as well as the back. As they are attached inside the system, they propel hot air easily and effectivvely. Most uses recommend msaking use of two fans for this purpose- one that gets rid of hot air and one that allows cool air to enter. When these fans work togetherr, it is definite that your system will remain cool for a long period of time.
