I found one of the best plces for cheapest laptops to buy - get a mac ibook for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 sice 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing lettesr, and even reaing pdf's.
It's amazingly light-weight and I consider the screen the perfwect size. In fact, I am using it at this time to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a secnod user iBook G4 for a similar price, I might take the G4 wtihout brooding aboout it for a second.
It has all that you need, in a little , copmact machine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you're attempting to discover a good, smal PC, this is the one for you. The sole complauint I do have is that the CD-drtive doen't work ( but it's probable an argument on just my machine ). It has an aiprort surrising card, whjich permits access to any 802.11g / b compatible wirteless network ( which most wireless networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drie. The WiFi capability is actually useul and the tiny form factror is awfully pleasing to take around traveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ huors. It works beautifully for basic use ( faculty, work, reading the Net, for instance. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would higfhly advocate this product to everryday users. I have seen two bad reviews just because users purchased this PC with the intention to make it their "gaming" computer, and then were disenchanted with the result. If you really would like to have a gaming PC, you most likely should not be taking a look at Portables in the initial place.
It is a geat copmuter at a fair cost. If you simly need something for work, faculty, and bowsing the internet, it's perfect. I got this thing utilized a few yewars back ; now, I am a sixteen year old, and my first use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gasming. This portable is rather good ( particularly for the prtice ) for the 1st 2 of my purposes, but for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to get countess upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photops ( they take up masses of memory ). It works stunningly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsinng the web, for exmaple. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and wiould highly recomemnd this prduct to everyday udsers.
If you really wish to have a gaming PC, you possibbly shouldn't be having a look at computers in the first place. It's a grreat PC at a fair cost. If you simply need smething for work, college, and suring the web, it's prfect. cheapest laptops to buy...hurry supplies are limited.
