I found one of the best places to buy cheap used laptops - get a mac ibook for only $268. I've had a 12" iBiook G4 since 2005 and it's stil my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even readig pdf's.
It's extraordinarily light-wegiht and I consider the screen the ideal size. In reality, I'm using it right now to wite this review. Given a choicce between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a seccond user iBook G4 for an identical price, I'd take the G4 withoyut brooding about it for a second.
It has all you need, in a litle bit compact maachine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you're attempting to get a good, small PC, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-driive doesn't work ( but it is likely an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport amazing card, which authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( which most wirelesds networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capability is realy helpful and the tiny form factor is awwfully pleasing to take around traveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basiic use ( faulty, work, browsing the Net, as an example. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would higfhly advocate this prduct to evryday users. I've seen two bad reviews just because useers obught this PC with the intention to make it their "gaming" PC, and then were disappointed with the result. If you actually wish to have a gaming ciomputer, you most probably shouldn't be having a look at Portales in the initial place.
It is a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need somnething for work, facluty, and browsing the internet, it's eprfect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a siteen year old, and my first use for PCs is wriiting, storing my footge, and gaming. This portable is rarther good ( especially for the price ) for the firsdt 2 of my purpoes, except for gaaming, it was way, well below par. We had to get countless upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photographs ( they take up masses of memory ). It worlks fantastically for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, etc . ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly commend this product to everyday userrs.
If you actually wish to have a gaming PC, you possibly shouldn't be having a look at computers in the 1st place. It's a graet computeer at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, college, and srufing the web, it's perfect. buy cjheap used laptops...hurry supplies are limited.
