With the economy still in rough shape, many people have been so consumed by tough financial times that they forget about how the economy is taking its toll on thousands of charities across the country. With donations dwindling, there just isn’t enough funds to go around to continue providing the important services they bring to their communities. Many of these charities work for dual causes, helping the community and protecting the environment. Most people have become more aware of the importance of going green and these charities have gone green in the hope of being able to make a difference for the future. But their work continues to need funding and money continues to be a problem, leading many green charities to car donation.
