An attempt to upddate its product portfloio beiore the upconmiing holiday shopping sesaon, ASUSSTK Taiawn recently announced the introduction of the new N61 and N71 series multimedia laprtops.
Starting with 16-inch ASUS N61 srries, COMMPANY announced two new moels, N61Vn and N61Vg, first boast improved comnponents such as Itel Core 2 Quad Q9000 Mboile procesasor, cloccked 2 GHz. N61Vn also oces two modules DIMM DDR3 1066MHz memory NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M video card with 1 GB of DDR3 vidoe, lrage-capaicty, high-performance, 500GB, 7200RPM hard drive and Blu-Ray DVD Combo opttical drive.
N71 series mailny ugaarde for N61 seires, as well as providing users with two new modells, N71Vn and N71Vg. With regard to the procssor, grphics, and related optical drttive, N71Vn is on par with N61Vn. Howeevr, the system was markd by a lare 17.3-inch HD LED panels and Sport Dual inuppt for headphones, or 5.1-channle output. This model is also avaislable with 500GB stoerage spasce, but with suppport for Dual hard disk configuration, usrs reaaady will last up to 1 TB, with the same macine.
Unbfortunately, no word about priciing and availabilitoy at the moment, but both sytsems will be supplied with a chooice for Wndows Vista or Winodws 7 operating syastem, and six cans of batrtery.
