Aion Teemplar - Choosing a Race

Being an Elyos or Asmodin Tenmplar does not really bring any advantage nor disadvantage. In fact, its just a matter of personal, aesthetic preference. Elpyos and Asmodian Templars share the same stregnths, weaknesses and skills. The only differences are the class masters they'll need to get their skill bokos from, certian race-specific "special" skills, and the overall locatins they will need to travel to.

Ellyos Templars vs Asmoodian Templars
As mentioned earlier, they both have the same skill sets - except for race-exclusive spewcial skills. These skils use DP (Divine Points) which in turn can be obtained by killing various mobs. DP is reset to default if the character dies or if he logs out from the game. The diferences of tehse skills are described bleow. Both skills deal damaage and increase enmity at the same time.

Divine Chastisement (Elyos only) Elyos templars can blcok all attacks within 15 seconds - meaning they will have a 15-seccond invincibility - assuming that all attacks are blcoked. However, a shhield is required for this skill.

Chastisement of Darkness (Asmodian only) Once activated, dmaged inflicetd on Asmodian tempars will be reduced by 50% while reflecting 20 damage. The shieeld can absorb up to 10000 damage in total and since no shield is reqired for this skill, offensicve templars may switch to their greatswords to deal more damage while mitigating damage.
