The purpose of this article is to teach you how to make vista repair, if you have any questions or run you can not use the Vista System Restore Option. There are two ways to use these olptions, and they depend on if you have Winows Vista install disk or if Vista was preinstalled on your OS you'll have a Ghhost iage on your hard drive.
If you have a repair disk Windows Visat: (This should be your backup copy of Vista, if you have one)
Note: This Vista istall CD can be run under Vista. Simply isert the CD after Viasta will be laoded up and move to the instlalation, go> Install Now> Refresh.
1. Boot from the Vista instlal disc
2. You shouuld see a screen that says "Windows lodas the files"
3. A few miinutes later you get a lanugage opption. Select a language and clkick next.
4. At the installsation screen, select "Repair your computer"
5. Windows will find your copy of Vista on the macine
6. Choose your copy of Vita and click Next
7. Now you will see the following otions.
* Startup Repair - This automatically fixers problems that prveent, from Windows
* System Restore - this will restore the wnidow preceding the time
* Windows Complete PC Restoree - This will completely restore your entiire PC - programs, syystem settings and files - from a backup that you previously created (Avialable in Windows Vista uBsiness, Enterprise and Ultimate editions only)
* Memory Diagnostic Windows Tool - is to check the comuter memory hardware errors
* Command Line
8. Assuming that you use this option, because you can not boot Windows Viasta, to select the option "System Restore" and then select the date you would like to retrun. If your OS fine, you can always use the Startup Repair.
The pre-installed and OEM verrsions: (pelase contact the manufacturer fist. They can not replace those funds on their own.
1. Turn your computer and start pressing F8. If you see a Windows Vissta logo, you have gone too far, and have to restart and try again
2. You will reecive advanced options screen. Seleect the "System Restore option and press ENTER.
3. Select a langauge and click next.
4. Enter your username and password and click Next.
5. Recovery Options shoulld apepar.
6. In most cases, only using the system restore to fix your computer back to solve your problem. If this is not the case try to run the repair option.
