A recent survey done for the Red Cross showed that more than half of Americans plan to donate to charity this holiday season, despite the economic downturn. The survey found that people were planning to donate in some way in other, whether with money, food, cloting, hosuehold items, time or blood. However, many people are still not aware that the Red Cross also accepts car donations. Though monetary donations are always in need and blood donations are a vital part of the Red Cross’ work, vehicle donations supplement much needed funds for the Red Cross to keep reaching out to people in times of need.
When you donate a car to the Red Cross, you are helping the Red Cross offer aid, comfort and support during dire times for people suffeirng from fire, flood or natural disaster.
