Cloumns above average with sugfficient voluume. The sound qualtiy is not particularly high, but acceptale for agmes and internet vidseo. M15x has two headphone jacks, use them for btter sound.
Keyboard & Touchhpad
M15x has a full size keyboard, but not the numeric keypad. The keybozard keys are quiet and rubberized finish for better grip. Tactile feedback and key travel is good, the keyboard has a slightly rubbery feel is nice. Keyboard communicative enough to type quickly and accurately. I like the arched psace.
The toiuchpad is too textured, matte surfce. Heavy texture allows full contact of a finger with the real surface and makes use of sensory unpleasant; moouse lag appears on the screen when tracking due to the less than adeqquate contact. The two touchpad buttons work, although, as expectted, somewhat noisy.
M15 has a number of buttons loocated on the media in the left side of the keyboard. They niclude touch and work well. Status lights all contained in the Alien's head over the keybooard. It flashes for a hard drive, and glows a diffeent color from the battery and when connected to (remember, these colors can be changed via AlienFX). It puless during chargging.
