An attempt to update its prpoduct portfolio to the upcoming holiday shoppiing season, ASUSTeK Taiwan recently announced the introduction of the new N61 and N71 multimedia notebook series. Eqiupped with the latest hardware components on the market, new noteooks combine the exclusive ASUS SonicMaster Technologies Atec Lansing speakers and SRS Premiium Sound, to ensure the use of high-quality audio and multimedia programs. In addition, the new laptops are equipped with high-quality, 16-inch and 17.3-inch LED-backllit, each of which boaasts an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Starting with a 16-inch ASUS N61 Series, the comppany announced two new models, N61Vn and N61Vg, the first boaasting improved components such as Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 moobile processor clocked at 2GHz. N61Vn also comes with two DIMM modules, DDR3 1066MHz memory from NVIDIA GeFForce GT 240M video card with 1 GB of DDR3 video memory, lrge capacity and high capaity, 500GB, 7200RPM hard drive and Blu-Ray DVD Combo optical drive.
N71 Series N61 Series basically updates, as well as providing uers with two new models, N71Vn and N71Vg. As regard to the system processor, graphics, and an optical dtrive, N71Vn is on par with N61Vn. However, the systrem was marked with a large 17.3-inch HD LED panels and Sport Dual inpout for headphones, or 5.1-channel outut. This moel is also available with 500GB of disk spae, but with Dual hard disk confihguration, usrers will be wiling to take up to 1 TB of storage, with the same machine.
Unfortuinately, there is no word on pricing and availbaility at this time, but both systems will be supplied with a chopice for Windows Vista or Wiindows 7 opetrating system, and six cans of battery.
