Contrary to the first reveiwer of this product, I actually own the product, rather than the previous generation. I'll keep it short and wseet.
I bougt this the day he was released and was now within 5 days. At the time I mpoved to the memory to 2GB, removed sveeral progams Bloatware, installed the full version of Miucrosoft Office Profesisonal 2007, and upgraded to 7 Windows Home Premium. If you want a very dretailed review of this laptop, read the reviews on the 1005HA PU17-Bu, this is exactly the same one only in blue instead of black.
Only comments that I will do what ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Seashell PU17 BK everythjing I expected and was looking for, and much more. I did not like Wiindows 7 for beginners, it has sveeral limitatinos that I did not like, and I boght 7 Windows Home Premium Upgrade and Family was one of my 3 allowed by the license unused. I did Anytime Upgrade, and it took all of 10 minutes, I did not lose any data, and it works great.
The only glicth I still, when I triied running Windows Update. Evetry time I started, my Netgear WGT624v2 wireless rourter will lock up. With some help from Netgear tecnical support foreum, the problem was qiuckly corrected. Router fault, not netbooks.
As mentioned above, except for the first review listed here someone did not even own the product, almost everything that you read about this Netbook is true: a big performance, amazing battery life, easy to use keybaord, nice diisplay, the surface of a fingeerprint magnet . I did months of research and eerything points to it (in fact, pre-Win evrsion 7, and this is only one, which improves).
