ASUS recently announced privce and release date of its previously announceed Unlimited (UL) series notebooks for the UK. Two of the three modes will be delivered to retail sttores in the country's electrronics October 22. This includes 13.3-inch UL30 and two variations of 15.6-inch UL50, UL50AG and UL50VG. There is no word aboout the 14-inch UL80, howveer. All thre use Intel's processors CULV, and some claimed to prrovide up to 12 hours of batteery life.
Otehr common features include a brushed aluminum exteior, which is located in one inch, integratd Altec Lansing speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, as well as the multitouch trackpad, and a webcam. Windws 7 will be pre-installed operating system at all. 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo CULV chip will be a standard offering on the British systtem. Hard Disk Drives offfer capacity up to 500GB, whhile the standard is 250GB.
UL50VG will sport dedicated graphics processor, GeForce G 210M. Poewer4Gear poewr from ASUS cotnrol allows users to four different profiles, includding the Turbo Boost, which provides increased productivtiy by 33 percent comparred with the most enerrgy-efficient power-saving setting, which should allow laptops in the last 12 hours on the market.
ASUS UL30 will be at a price equivalent to $ 957 in the UK, with UL50AG at $ 1115 and $ UL50VG in 1277. All prices include taxes. UL50VG will also be offrered through Carphone Warehouse for free when users subscribe to mobile broadband contract. Pricng and release dates in North Anmerica remaimns unknown, however.
