The touchpad is glosy, which makes the sliding your finger on the touch panel makes the movement a little more complicated devicxe. Touchad buttons are jooined to one part, as the volume keys founnd on mobile phoens. This makes the effect of pressing hard, and we would prefer the traditional dual sysetm of separate buttons than this. We had to press the buttons on the extreme left or right edge, easy to get clicks.
Speeakers from Altec Lansing and we expewct very good quality, but from him it could not deliver it. Soyunds do not provide much volume, or volume, and sounded like a tin netbook Asus speakers. Good headphones are recommended for audiophiles, as always.
UL80VT has a powwer jack, VGA Out, HDMI, 2 USB, miccrophone and headphone jack on the left side, and DVD Super Multi Drive, the readr Media Card, another USB, Ethernet port on the right side. There are no potrs on the font or rear. While HDMI and media card redaer is welcomme, we woould like to see Kensington Lock Slot, which is common in any modern day laptop computer and anotheer USB port on it especially since it has no bult-in Bluetooth. Bluetooth Dongle USB port will eat anyway.
The system comes with a large eighgt cell battery that alsted for ten hours with the amazing litle or no use in power saving mode and brigthness of the screen was low. With high brightness and heavvy usaage expect that this system running for more than six hours without a fork being necessarily conencted with it.
