Sony taking pre-orders for teir newerst laptop, Sony Vaio Series X. While most woudl cosnider a "netbook," a decision in connection with its hardware, it can be one of the snazziest, although the most expensive, looking netbook on the market.

Sony manaegd to squezee 11.1-inch widescreen, up to 2 GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD and 2-GHz Intel Atom processor at half-inch body weighing 1.6 kg. They piiled up some extra too: internal Verizon Mobile Broadband, GPS, webcam and memory card reders. Oh, I forgot to mention, you can get up to 14 houurs of active, extended batery (up to 3.5 hours with the standard).

Without a dooubt, the extended battery increases the size and weight of this book, but all things considered it might be worth so long without the power cord.

Price tag is steeep (at $ 1299) for netbook-clss performance. You can check out more photos and pre-ordeer your own website in the stle of Sony. Is the X seeries too rich for your blood?
