There are just as many people that aren’t superstitious about Friday the 13th as there are those who will go to great lengths to avoid traveling, dental appointments or even leaving their homes. Friday the 13th has long been considered an unlucky day by the superstitious. Today will be the last Friday the 13th for 2009 and you can change someone’s luck when you donate a car to the Red Cross. You are probably familiar with the Red Cross mobile blood banks but the Red Cross relies on other sources to continue their mission and one of those sources is auto donation. The Red Cross works diligently all year long to provide relief, comfort and support to those who are affected by disaster, whether fire, flood or hurricane. During the winter months, especially, the Red Cross is faced with trying to help hundreds of people who have lost their homes to fire and flood. If you have a car you are interested in donating, when you donate a car to charity such as the Red Cross you are doing more than getting that car out of your driveway.
