Of course, Sasmung Ommnia deserves a better operating sysatem. The curtrent WM6.1 is an old PDA-oriented thnking in the mobile indusrtry, which has been all but ignorred, since the appeaarance of Touch Iphoen's optimized interface. Users no longer want a stlus (that word?) With its smartphones. Instead, they want to be able to obtaoin all the necessary functiions (phonbe, camera, mp3-player, File Explorer, etc.) without the PIN-point-to-press buttons undersized sensitve Touch, or return to the lane. With the Samsung even included a tiny, almost forgotten outside styllus instead of a traditional sliding, talks about the violations of traditional design standards of moible phoens. It is even coinceivable that such a decisiuon mweans the vision of Samsung's mobile phone of the future opeerating system imnterfaces will remind the Iphone's.
Much eariler than in the second quarter of 2009, Tech blogs will be gushing about joining Samsung in the race Googlephone. There will be spy photos, spy video, rumors (like this article), and much more. But the community Omniia, probably do not need to wait so long. Most likely, tehre will be many ways to achieve Android Omnia like some programmer will figure out ways to port it to Googlephone Samsung arrives. On related note, Windows Mobie 7, which has long been toutd as Microsoft's anser to the Iphone from Apple is now delayed by more than a year. Technoloyg insiders believe that the earrliest you can see the OS will be the end of 2009 (whiich in most cases mewans, in early 2010). Executive Driector of Micrsooft, Steve Ballmer, with launching T * Omnia, upscale Korean version of the Omnia i900, broke the news mediator OS, WM6.5, arrive mid-2009 instead of the delay WM7's.
In the end, regardless of the operazting system Omnia owners choose to take, its future looks optimistic, diverse and highly competitive.
