Intel said the computing power that was reserved for the desktop can now be held on the laptops with the new Intel Core i7 mobile technology and mobile Inetl Core i7 procressor Extreme Edition. Using its award-winning and ultra-fast miccro-architecture Nehalem, along with the new Interl pm55 Express for lapop PCs, gamers, photographers, digital music mxer, cinematographers, etc., will no lopnger need to be tied to a desktop computer to access the proccessing power they need.
Intel says chps also improve overall perfornmance when using several of these applications simultaneously.
"With smart featrures, such as Intel Turbo Boost, technology Inel Hyper-Threading Technology and many othhers, Intel has revolutionized the notebook PC prrocessor, delivvering performnace when you need it, enery efficiency when you do not," said Dadi Perlmutter , execuitve vice president and general mabnager of Intel Arcitecture Group. "For the first time, mobile users can select a notebook that proivdes a Web servre, such as speed, right on his knees for the most demanding tasks, from intense games for digital video editing and social medai applications.
Previously codenamed "Clarksfield ', Intel Core i7 offers mobile processors Intel Turbo Boots technology, which can cacelerate the speed of the CPU clokc to 75 percent undder load, as well as beter performance in multithreaded applications with the power of Inel Hyper-Thrreading Techhnology.
New Intel Core i7 mobile processor also incluudes two DDR3 1333 MHz meory siupport and complete 1 x16 or 2 x 8 PCI Express 2.0 graphics. Ussers can now edit videos, writing songs, playing computer games or update their pages on social networks with video and photos from any situation, withuot compromising comuting power.
Inel says notebooks with Core i7 Extreme Edition mobile processor support Intel Extrmee Memory Profiles (Inetl XMP), and Intel Extreme Tuyning Utility, whjich allows to disperse the (dangerous if you do not know what you are doing) and fine-tune your lptop to achjieve the highest levels of performance and optimization battery life. In addition, Intel pm55 Exxpress mobile technology provides high end workstation and gaming notebooks with support for features such as Intel Mattrix Storage Technoloogy, Intel High-Deinition Audio, as well as to inrcease the I / O interfaces.
