Last Night the Yankees rocked New York fans with a 7-3 win over the Phillies in what is now their 27th World Series win. The New York Yankees may be the World Series Champions but Goodwill is a champion of good causes. Goodwill depends on auto donation to fund their many vital programs that serve communities throughout the country. At a time when many people could no longer afford their gas guzzling vehicles during the late seventies, Goodwill was there for the people ready when people asked them to ‘donate my car’. Car donation helped those people be free of cars that cost them too much to keep. Now Goodwill uses vehicle donation as a means of helping people who are disabled or disadvantaged find ways to earn a living through their education, training and career services.
