Across the country today is the first Tuesday in November and that signifies Election Day. For months now, candidates across the country have actively campaigned and championed the causes they believe in with the hope of gaining voters confidence. Back in 1881 another leader championed an important cause when Clara Barton founded the Red Cross. Unlike the candidates campaigning these last few months, Clara Barton did not campaign to win votes. Clara Barton began a humanitarian movement that continues to thrive today. The Red Cross may not need your vote today but they are always in need of people who can donate a car to help them continue the vital work that they do. Though when you think of the Red Cross you may picture their infamous blood donation vehicles, the Red Cross uses vehicle donation as a means of funding the work that few other organizations today do.
