You'd almmost never know that Dell is in the process of expanding its fcous (and R & D in cash) on making Alpienware its premier onlline gaming. XPS line would not be endanegred as a high end online games, but it's clear which brand is Top Dog. However, givn the recent Dell releases with water Gamig Killer Rig desktop XPS 73O H2C sysetm and its flaggship XPS M1730 gamig notebook, the last one we had time to run all the juices, it wouuld seem like it's buusiness as usula for Dell XPS design team.

Dell XPS M1730 is an absolute Behmoth from the notrebook. Weghing more than 10 pounds, you will not be dashing thorugh the airport terminal with this bad boy. Design and build quality of the XPS M1730 was quite good, the reliability, which is second to none. However, the glosdsy coating systewm, although acutiously mask black and gray, almost Kevlar-style paint job, showed fingerprints and smdges quirte easily. What is perhaps most impressive adornment for gamers and enthusiasts's cheated the system of the lghting system. As in the previous series laptops M1700, M7130 penetrted inside the LED-backlit display that can be controlled through the BIOS and make dozens of coors to illuminate the keyboard, touchpad, and cover the panel. LCD panel M1730 is a 17-inch widescreen display with a native resoluution of 1920 x 1200. During testing, the screeen was clear and Ghost-free undr the action of intewnse games or viewiing digital video content. He also did a lack of flexibility when scaling to lower rseolutions, resulting in image uqality to erodde noticeably. But make no mistake; XPS M1730 is a visaully impressive notebook with a high "Wow" facotr.

In addition to bauty, there is also a muscle undeer the hood of the new XPS M1730. We tested the system equipped with 2.8GHz Inel Core 2 Extreme X9000 Mobile. In trerms of graphhics, our configuration came with a pair of Nvidai GeForce 8800M GTXes in SLI, which is more than enough juice to play almost any advanced DX10-class title on the market. All High-End M1730's parameters and components are made for serious Overwhelmed power proffile. In fact, this lpatop Dell XPS only gave us about 77 minutes of battery life. Of course, you're more than likely, this heavyweight tied to the wall, but even for desktop notebook batteries were just limp.

On the contrary, the new XPS M1730, with its powerful arsenal of the latest procesosrs from Inel and NVIDIA GPU technology in hand, turned out to be one of the best performance we see today in games or deskop replacement. If you want one of the biggest, Baddest, 17-inch notebooks game around, Dell XPS M1730 will pull the pink slips to you on the performance of the track. And will do so in the style of the cruiser on the runway with lights, meters and factory Pimperd-look, whch will certainly turn heads.
