Mike Hernandez knew all too well what it was like to be stranded without a car. Ten years ago Mike was worried about losing his job. His company was relocating. Not out of state but it might as well have been for Mike. Mike was at the mercy of the public bus system and had used the public bus system to get to and from work each day. The company’s new building was not on or near the bus route, leaving Mike worried sick about how he would get to work. Mike was a maintenance man for this company and he liked his job. Besides that, he needed this job to provide for his family and decent jobs that were accessible by bus were hard to come by. Mike swears his guardian angel was looking out for him.
