The economy continues to bring hard times to families across the country. For those of us who are in a good place, we might find ourselves almost feeling guilty for being so fortunate. You may still have that job you’ve worked so hard at for years, still be able to afford a nice car, nice home and a dinner out here and there. If you’re thinking about helping others in need, consider a charity like the Red Cross whose need for donations increases each year around this time. Though you might remember the mobile blood banks with the Red Cross sign on them that has been taking blood donations for many years, donating to the Red Cross doesn’t take money or blood. If you aren’t able to spare money and not able to donate blood for health or other reasons, Red Cross also accepts auto donations. With so many charities and organizations advertising in papers or on billboards for auto donations, Red Cross needs people to donate used cars now more than ever.
