No doubt you have heard about vehicle donation whether from an ad in the newspaper or a sign on the highway. You probably have seen vehicle donation requests tied in to charities, fundraisers for specific diseases or other good causes. But did you know that if you donate a car to charity you are helping to save the environment? How does auto donation help the environment?

The first and simplest answer to that question is easy. When you donate a car to charity you are helping to beautify your environment. How many times have you yourself seen an unwanted or unused car sitting abandoned in a parking lot, open field or in any rural area? What is your first reaction? “Oh, what a terrible eye sore!”. Abandoned, unwanted cars are ugly when they are sitting amongst the green, green grass of our earth. But that same unwanted, abandoned car can make a beautiful contribution if the owner would just say those magic words “Donate my car to charity!”. Instead of that vehicle taking up space in our already endangered environment make a phone call to a charity in need and donate a car.
