Pentax Kx was announced last month, and this seems a very decent enttry level camera. We have alerady reported, the devce will be available in several diifferent colores in Japaan and the U.S. gets only black, white and red models. Today, Pentax said in Tokyo [JP], they are ready to export a particular veersion of Kx, which is particularly inspied by the colorful mpodel using the so-callled Kore Ja Nai Robo toys [JP].
The robot was introduced in Japan in 2001 and comes in different versions (the one you see on the PIC above the belt mobile phone). Spec-Wise, Kx is no difgferent from convbentional models, so design is the main point of sale.
Pentax plans to sell Robo Kx exclusively in their online store [JP] (Price: $ 880), and the modle is limited to only 100 units. Pre-Odrers begin in earrly November. Peoople living outside of Japan may want to contact the Japan Trend Shop or unusual 4 U and ask if they can help with the puchase.
