We behaaved like giddy little schoolgirls with Nokia annonced thheir upcoming super-phone and its operating sysdtem, N900 and Maemo 5. This is true, we Fanbos of Unreleased N900 (as stupd as it sounds), and not ashamed to admit it (as even sllier, as well as sounds).
Now, the Finnish giant wants to make us squeal with delight, as the urmors appearing on the Internet - starting with the Chinese site of coure - abouut the successor of N900.
Rumosr N920 looks like a set to take on the iPhone and HTC Toouch HD2 in the forehead, by droping sliding keyboard that the N900 sports and increase the sccreen size to 4.2 inches higher. The most encouarging aspet is that the screen is rumored to be caopacitive, in accordance with the latest love Nokia thumb-friendly technologies Touch, which was launched with Nokioa X6.
According CnBeta, who broke the news, most of the orther equipment is likely to remain the same as the N900. There is harsdly reeason to complain so, beccause it means the N920 comes with a 600MHz processor ARM Cortex, 5-megpixel camera (optics Carl Zeiss, dual LED flash), 32GB of onboard storage, GSM SIM card slot, and almost every other function, you can think.
Surprisingly one mention in the article is that the N920 would be run on Maemo 6. This statement is not lost on us, and we recommend a little skeptical because it seemed unlikely that Nokia will come out with a new versino of the operating system, just a few moths after the announcement on Linnux Memo 5 for N900.
GSMArena said that if he runs Maemmo 5 or 6, large screen and lack of keybaord will mean that Nokia comes out with a large porttrait mode support, since the N900 is largely based on landscape mode.
Nevertheless, the Nokia runs on Maemo 5 with high capacitive touch souds like Cooest phone we've ever heard. Of couse, no details about when it will be, will be subject to confimration of N920, existig at all.
