Round Rock, Texcas, Dell, one of the world's leadign PC manufacturer is preparing to launch a new lapop Adam, who is thin prtable computer system in the woprld, boaasting only 0.39 inches at its thinnest point. Laptop, which was announced quite a long time now, due out October 22, the same day that Microsoft, is expected to launch its long awaited Windws 7 oeprating system.
Dell was teasing Adam XPS since the beginning of September, coming in as an pugrade to a new line of lapotps the coompany of Adam, which debuted earlier this year. Until then, the company has been very secretive regarding the exact specifications of the new machines, but is xepected to annoumnce a full list of specifications, prices and availability on October 22 that three days later.
Hoewver, accoirding to a pair of leaked details that have emerged on the Internet, the laptop will boast a thickness of 0.39 cm and it will cost about $ 2000. In addition, one of the most interesting tihngs that we learned abouyt the upcoming laptopp Adam comes from the recent news artilce in Business Week, where the system is said to boast of the heat-senisng Strip. Apparently, this feature will work as a mechainsm for opening the upcomiing car Dell, which will lalow users to open the aluminum top of the notebook by reading fingerprints on the white lunminous band.
Priced at $ 2000 per unit, Dell is not going to make Adam XPS large volumes of production, but rather one that will give him the honor of some umnique systems in the world of computers. Basically, the company will coninue to produce for the mainstream makret, but its portfolio will innclude some special products, such as Adam, who will be aimed at higher end-users, loolking at what might distinguuish them from the pack.
