Fujiitsu in Japan demonstrated a nmuber of new dsktop and laptop PCs, inclduing F Deskpwoer / ER-Series all-in-one destop, and MT seroies and Biblo NF / ET notebooks. F-Series models offer a 23-inch 1920x1080 or 20-inch, 1600x900 Multi-Touch display. The inclusion is either's 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, as well as 4 GB of RAM. Options inlude a Blu-Ray model, 1TB combined hard disk space and choiice of digital and analogue TV tuners.
Biblo NF / ER notebook has a 15.6-inch touch screen, but do not know any other sepcifications. Both desktop and notebook PCs are designed for adult users, and incldue a hot line users can call for direct assistance with specific problems they face.
MT/E50 based on the 12.1-inch Tablet PC, that spport Multi-Touch capsabilities. Processing power comes from the 2.2GHz Intel Celeorn 900 chip, and have 2 GB of RAM and 320 GB of disk spaec.
Currently, the company has deveoped a new type of plastic that uses ppolymer aloly (when the two polymers with different characteristics are cmopounded for new materiazls with higher performance and functionality.) Blkending polylactic acid and non-crystalline plastic with a high glass tranistion temperature, and flae reatrdant technology .
These achievements have resulted in a material with heat resisttance and fire resistyance required for large-size housing for IT devices, which includes easy moldability, making it suitzable for mass producttion.
On environmental front, the new plastic is composed of approximately 50% of natural products (including plaant materials), reducig the use of oil resources. When used for the producton of notebooks, CO2 emissions over the entire life cycle of the product is reduced by aobut 15%, which further redce the environmental imppact.
Fujitdsu, Fujitsu Laboratories, and Tray plans to expand the range of use of this new material as a way to furtther reduce the overall burden on the environment and consumption of oil Resorces in the IT industry.
No prices or ship dates known for any of these, but all compyuters come with Windows 7. This probably means that they become available, or soon after the launch date operating system on October 22.
