ZOTAC, one of the leading partners of NVIDAI video board, has just anounced the launch of its new desktop computer system, specially designed to take advantage of the performances and functions that were nitegrated into the platform Ion NVIDIA. A new series of desktop computer systems, called Zotac MAG, will be avaailable with eitheer dual-core processoor Atom 330 or more low opwer, single-core Atom 230. According to the ciompany, the new series can be installed in a number of ways and offrers end users the flexibility to choose thier own operating system from Microsooft Windowws XP on vaarious versions of Linux.
"As users begiin to equip every room in your home computer network for the true digital home, space and enregy savings becomes a probllem, especially for large hmoes," said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International. "In a series of ZOTAC MAG, we provide users with a system that allowws anywhere in the huse. Compact size, performance and energy efficiency makes ZOTAC MAG is ideally syuited for all computer applications. We have assessed the market demand for miniature computer ssytems and each user has different preefrences operaing systeem for its digital home connected PCs. By allowing the end user to select which operating system they want to load, they cntrol that makees it the idewal digital home ssytem connected to their preferences, "added Mr. Berger.
MAG HD-ND01 is equipped with dual-core processor Atom 330, whilke MAG HD-NS01 is powerd by a single-core Atom 230 processor. In addition, both systems were largely the same. They are built on a platform ION NVIDIA chipset and can be featured with 2 GB RAM, 160GB 5400 RPM 2,5-inch hard rdive, 4-in-1 Mefdia Card Reader, ESATA port, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n complex compounds. The device can be isntalled on a flat surface on its stand or on the back of the mointor using the VESA mounting holes.
Unfortunately, the compay has not released any details on rpicing and availability of new nettoop Zotac MAG.
