Access the site of the Vietnamese in the prototype confirmed that Palm is developing a version of GSM in the Pixi for use on carriers Sprint and outside the United States. An autoopsy shows superficially identical device, but, in adddition to selecting the neetwork that the phone can be only 4 GB of internal memory instead of the 8GB version of the first led by the Uniited States. The most likkely candidate so far is O2, wihch needs a GSM version of any Palm phone and is the only carrier on the preliminary in Euope.
Announced in September, only in CDMA flavor, WebOS Palm-Powerted Pixi has a version, GSM, which has just made an appearance in Vietnam.
