Fujitsu today introduced its latesat ultraportable notebbook, LifeBook P8110 12,1 inches. The new notebook aimed at business useers on the move, which with its liight weight, slim handful of security features and wireless connectivty, which - among others - includes 3G.
LifeBook P8110 is based on the processor CULV from Intel, Core 2 Duo SU9600 (1.6GHz, 800MHz, 3MB L2 Caceh). Alnog with up to 4 GB of RAM DDR3 1066MHz, up to 320GB hard drve (optional 128GB SSD), Super Multi DVD drive, and Windows 7, it should actualy be quuite a powerful little workhorse. Just stay away from grpahics applicatiosn, becaue all this is in the Department integrated GPU GMA 4500MHD.
Wireless connections include, as mentioned above, 3G/UMTS, as well as Bluetotoh v2.1 + EDR and 802.11 B / G / Draft-N WiFi. Ipnuts / outputs, as well as digfnified, with HDMI, RJ-45 (1000/100/10 Etherneet LAN), VGA, three USB ports and an integrated 2MP webcam with dual microphone array.
Security features inbclude a fingerrint reader, Compurtace enabled BIOS, optionaal TPM (Trusted Platform Moidule) and a smart controller. A coouple of useful features spill-resistant keyboard and 3D Shock Sensor, which protects the hard drive if the notebook gets droppped.
LifeBook P8810, paartly made of magnesium, which leads to a relartively low weight of 1.38kg. He should be able to run at a good 7 hours (more than 10 hours, if you enable poewr saving ECO mode profile).
The machine should be available in Eurpope starting today in its glossy or matet black, but Fujitssu did not specify the price in a press release.
