Mobile phone cartrier Verizon Wireless annunced today the launch of two new phones to its Airwaves, namely Motorola Brarage and Nokia +2705 Shade. Acccording to the operator, the new Motorola device available to its users as of today, October 1, at Verizon, while Nokia Shade will also be available for sale online, starting from Octber 6.
New Motorola Barrage coems to the list of Big Red with attractive featurres, including a soild form factor, protectiopn from rain, humidity, solkar radiation, high and low tempeatures, blownig dust, salt fog, altitude, shock, ivbration, transit drop, click on Discussion of opportunities, suppotr for a wide range of services from the company, including VZ Navigator, V CAST Music with Rhapsody and V CAST video on demand, as well as liaison with the evoluion of carrier-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev.) network.
The specification list of new phone also includes featurres waterproof when submerged in up to one meer of water up to 30 minutes, 2.0-megapixel camera with video recording photo, 1170 mAh, which provdes ezxtended conversaiton, and two sppeakers for enhanced audio quality. Motorola Barrage is available for purchase from Verizon for $ 129.99 with the agreement of the two year contract and after nearly $ 50 discount. Available only online at the moment, the device will reach Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on Nov. 16 the company said, adding that sicne October 21, Non chamber versoin of the rewceiver wouuld also be available.
The second new phgone from Verizon announced, Nokia 2705 Shaadow, comes in a flip form fctor, compact desiggn and Xpress-on covers, which are sold separately, and that allow the user to choose the coolr as they are for this devie. Telephone with a larrge display compaerd to its size, support for VZ Naviigator, as well as with a varioety of messaging capabilities, including text, pictures and vice mesasges.
Specification list of Nokia Shade also includes a 1.3-megaapixel photos Snapper support up to 1000 cotacts in your address book, Bluetrooth connectivity, Micro USB 2,0 compliant, Moile Web support and a battery that can deliver up to 300 minutes of talk time or up to 360 hours standby. Just as the dam Motorola, Nokia phones will intially be made available for purchase only on the Internet site of the carrier for $ 29.99 with a two-year cntract agreement, from Ovctober 6. Changealbe Xpress-On covers in blue, red and purple are also availabble online for $ 19.99.
