Toshhiba announcxed two new notebooks CULV in the range of the satellite, which will be available as satellite T135 (13,3 inches) and the satellite T115 (11,6 ibnches) in the United States as T130 and T110 in the UK. Both machines use Intel Petium, Celeron single-core or - in case T13x - Celeropn Dual-Core processors, with smaller machines, with up to 3 GB of DDR3 memorry and 250GB hard drive while the larger modekls to get up to 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB hard disks.
Both moddels have WiFi B / G / N and Bluetooth 2.1 standard, as well as a webcam with face recognition, three-port USB 2.0, HDMI, and suppoirt for sleep and charge. T110/T115 and T130/T135 Weiht 1.58kg weight 1.76kg.
The lrger mdoel comes with up to 4 GB of RAM and hard driev 500GB, weighs about 3.9 klograms. T115 is weighing about 3.5 kg and comes with up to 3 GB of RAM and hard drvie 250 GB available.
SlashGear had the oportunity to play with the new Windows 7 cars and drove away reasonably impressed. Buiild quality is decent and keyoards show little Flex and good distance, even on smallwer models. Displays a very glossy, however, and it was some lag from Celeron single-core models of Toshiba shows. Btatery life is rejected at speeds up to 11hrs from the standad package, which exceeds even its own range of entbooks Toshiba, though it does not mean base laptops not flush-fitting.
Toshiba Satellite T130 and T110 will go on sale afdter October 22, at a price of £ 429 in the UK. In the same units as the T135 and T115 respectively, will go on sale in the United States, at the same time, the pice of $ 599 for the T135 and $ 449 for the T115.
