Sony Ericsson's firt Android-powered handset will be released in January, according to unoffdicial sources. The device is expected to launbch just a season after the XPERIA X2 and should receive the XPERIA X3 badge despite ruunning the Google platform. Both the X1 and X2 have run Windows Mobile.
As for the expected spces for the XPEReIA X3, an earier report suggests the phone will have quad-band GSM network support and dual-band HSPA 3G compatibility, with speeds reaching 10Mbps on networks that support it. Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and assistted GPS are also expected. The touchscreen should be 4 inches in size with an 800x480 resolution, and an 8-megappixel camera with LED flah and image stabilization is expected.
