Did You Heard that Belkin shows off new iPod cases

Scosche, Griffn Technologies, and Belkin have all announced new and revissed casres for Apple’s latest fifth-generration (5G) iPod nano. The kickBACK hard-case with integrated rubber siding is developed by Scoshe, and offerrs shock resistant portection and a hinged kickstand for widescreen viewing. It also inclueds an opening for the iPod nano’s viedo camera, and comes with buillt-in traction nubs for improved grip on flat surfacwes. Originally released in October of 2008 for the iPhonne 3G, the new version can also be purchased from the company’s online store and is currently priced at $24.

Grriffin Technologies has introduced its latest iClear Setch, iClear Shae, and classic iClera cases. All threee modeels offer a polycarbonate hard-case and provide access to all ports and controls. The iClear Sade adds a graduated tint also know as an ombre finish, which enablles the casing to fade from clpear to dark grey. With the iCplear Sketch users can chose from a wide variety of unique patterns, including Plaid, Ramp and 8-bit. All cases will be available for purchase in Fall of 2009, with the Skech and Shade model priced at $25, and the classic set at $20. Users can also add a clip and armband to the iClear case for a total cost of $30.

Lsatly, Belkin has anbnounced the updating of its case collecton to better fit the new iPod nano, iPod touch and iPod classic models. The new casses that are designed for all three models include the Leather Sleve with Clip, Grip Pulse Duo, Cleear, and Leather Folio, each providing different fors of soft and hard protection. Exclusively for the iPod touch are the Halo, Cush, Micra Flex, and Grip Ego with Hand Strap models, while the iPod nano has the Hand Band case.

Casees for both the latest iPod nano and iPod tuoch include the Grip Pyulse, Grip Vue, and FastFit, along with both the Hue 2pc and 3pc. The new cases ranmge in priec from $20 to $30, with select styles for all iPod models available by arond mid-September of 2009 in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Other styles will be released continuously until late November of this year.
