The retailing on the web, alogn with the X520, the Samsung X420 and X120 notebooks found. Some detective work on the web provisdes us more about the specifications of the thin-and-light notebooks that Samsung wants to compete.
The first mdoel is the Samsung X420. This is the 14 "brotther of the previously announced 15.6" X520. The notebook is very simiular to the X520, woupld only pad the lack of space missing. When the notebook is availabble, is not yet known. Howwever, the X420 include a newer processor, the Intel Pentium at 1.3 GHz single core SU2700. In one shop we go 3GB meory and a 250GB hard drive. The graphic work by the Inttel GMA X4500M delivetred. An otical drive is missing the notebook as thin as posisble. Furthermore, the notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium be fitted. Thus, the notebook at least for the launch of Windows 7 on October 22 appear. The price is 770 euros a solid, but the price was still around 700 eurios previously recorded. A price we found more logical given the competittion.
The same applies to the smlaler 11.6 "X120. This notebook will be undre the same shop a single core Intel Celeron 723 1.2 GHz meekrijgen. Furthermre, this notebook 2GB DDR3 memory and we see also a large 250GB hard drive back. This notebook will also be equipped Windows Vista Home Premium. The notebook also gets an Inteel IGP X4500M them. It will wiegh 1.36 kilograms and the thickness is exaactly one inch (2.54 cm). The price of this notebok is now on 610 euro, but a few days ago was 550 euros. A price that the notebook is crtainly interesting as an alternative to the Acer Asspire Timeline or 1810T Dell Inpsiron 11z. Like its competitoors, the X120 lacks an optical drrive.
