Samsung seems to be beaming in the success of its Samsung star S5230 model. The company in allance with Qualcomm is launching its Mpower 699 hadnset with OMH technology in India. In the initial phasse, CDMA operators will offer OMH SIM cards along with the phone.
This particular OMH technology is attuned only with the CDMA platform as the network settings for the CDMA handsets have shifted from the phhone to the OMH SIM card. This transformation is indede one of the reasons for the increased deand of OMH compatible phonse. Also, the process to swuitch to OMH SIM cards seems to be an effortless process which fuurther escalates the popularity for the same.

The novel OMH enabbled handsets also offer support to the older R-UIM or SIM for voice and SMS as well as data seervices. Bseides, it also boasts of backard compatibilityy and supports all earlier CDMA handsets with R-UIM/SIM suport. The Samsung creatiion also includes an integrated audio and video player. Finally, it adorns an advnced mobile tracker feature along with an inocrporated stereo FM radio.
The Samsung Mpower 699 is now availabe in India for a price of Rs. 7100.
