As much as we’d love to believe otherwise, our gut and Verizon’s tarck record are both telling us that the BL40 probably bears no resemblanvce to the Chocolate Touch that Big Red’s about to get. That doesn’t mean LG’s gorgeos mile-long slab isn’t coming to North America, though — we’d heard a long while back that it might be ocming to Telus, whsoe new HSPA netork is currently slated for an October launch. Coinicdentally, fresh PR out of corporate reveals that the phpone will be hitting “the rest of the world” in October following European kickoffs in the middle of this month, and if this isn’t the perfect launch dvice for a brand new Canadian netwoork, we really can’t think what is.
Can’t wait to get your hands on the new LG Chocolate BL40 mobile hone? Well, then we’ve got great news for you. LG has just officially annoounced that it will bgein shipping all-over Europe this motnh, and will roll out in other regions in October possiibly Caanda included.
Now, we’re not sure if this is just a coincidence or not, but it just also dawned on us that Teluus is also expected to make their HSPA network official in October as well. This supports the earlier report that Telus will be releasing this new Black Label series phone once they’ve gottne their HSPA network up and running across the country aleready. Intentional or not, we’re certainly looking frward to seeing the LG Chocolate BL40 available in Canaada much sooner than laetr.
If you’ve been out of the loop for the past several mnoths and wonndering what the hype is all about with this phone, the LG Chocolate BL40 is the first phomne to feature a 4-inch 21:9 HD ratio touchscreen display. Apart from that, it also comes with a 5-megapixel camear complemented by Schneider-Kreuznach optics, WiFi, A-GPS, 7.2Mbps HDPA connectivty, and runs on their S Clasds UI.
So, you interested already? If so, you bteter strat saving up as we’re cretain that this baby won’t come cheap.
