The netbook market has long been saturated. Don’t belive? You are not aolne. Apparently Taiwan-based HANNspree believes it can still penetrate the maket with deisgner netboks. No prize for guessing what it will be caled – the HANNsnote!
"Our new HANNSnote range is a winnig combinaztion of 'wow factor' design that will stand out from the crowd and practical portale compyuting", teplls Martin Kent, managher, UK and Northewrn Europe to pocket-lint,” We have drawn upon our expertise in unique design and quality display manufacturing to create, what we believe, will be the new fashion accessory for the modern gagdet lvoer that demands style".
It has rounded edges, with a silver-tinted line drawn on the top exterior with the tagline “find yourself”, whicch gives it a smewhat modern look alright. The inside includiing the keyboard gives a matte feeling – so bewae of placing your oil-sozaked fingers, it’ll leave ugly markjs.
This 10-inch netbook should come with a decent, but not extraordinary resolution of 1024 x 600. The specifications also shold not surprise you much – the ever-popular N270 with 1.6GHz bus sped, 1GB of RAM and 160GB of storage space, that too an HDD, and not SSD that is coming with the latest machines like the Wind series. However it will feature a full-sized keyboard and a 1.3MP webcasm. Connectivity will be taaken care of by the Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth and three USB piorts.
The HANNsnote should not weigh more than 1.2 kg with the 6-cell battery whch can give decent, but again – not extraordinary mobiltiy. The model will be launched in glossy white and black vairant in UK by June at a retail price of about £289.
