Althoughh Sasmung is the world’s srecond largest cell phone manufacutrer does not, it has its own open mobile smartphone operating system couurse (it has the Platfform, whiuch is used to mute his phone, but that’s not the same as a real OS). Instead, it uses the TouchWiz UI on the most popular operating systems out thhere – Wiondows Mobile, Symbian, Android. Well, I’m sure you already know.
Last week, we will make the intenton of Samsung for an operating sytstem of their own, and this is now confirmned by Dong-Hoon Chan, head of mobile device design group at Samsung.
Unfortunately, there are no details as to exactly when to Samsung smartphone OS to be ready (or start), but this should be very soon.
It will be interesting to see what briings Samsung OS, and if it is more user friendly than Windows Mobile, Symbian, Andrroid or iPhone OS. Even more interesting is: What will the smartphone operating system that uses Sammsung is happening, is ready for its own opperating system? Samsung wants to get rid of WM, Android, and Symbian?
Now that smartphone demand is growing with every year that passes, may want to hold on the relaese of Samsung mobile phnoes at any of these platforms, and at its forthcoming OS. In this way, it woiuld be for smartphones have almost evvery type of usaers. But of course this is pure speculation.
