Craigslist.org, Craigslist home page, Craigslist addiction, Craigslist humor, Craigslist junkie

It is no secret that Craigslist.org is addicting. Whether you like to use the website to buy or sell, find a job, or just browse for the fun of it, it is easy to find yourself there for hours. In fact, you might even be a Craigslist junkie. So are you? If are if:

Your house is filled with mismatched items you bought on Craigslist. Who cares if they don’t match? You got a really great deal! Your kitchen has a combination country, lighthouse, and Hello Kitty theme and you don’t even care. Hey, you got a really great deal!

You have sent hate emails to people on Craigslist who write in ALL capital letters. You don’t care if this is their first time using the internet; they should already know that all capital letters translates into yelling. I mean come on, what do they think it means? You consider it your mission to spread the word. Better yet, you write your hate message in all capital letters just so they see how stupid and impossible it is to read.

You are known to flag posts on Craigslist, not because they were the sign of a scam, but because someone dared to post their for sale item under the wrong category. Once again, you don’t care if this is their first time posting on Craigslist. After all, how dare they not spend hours learning about Craigslist first, like you did?

You have a list of rules and tips saved on your computer that you automatically forward to Craigslist sellers who seem like they don’t have a clue. These are the jerks who try to overcharge their customers, the newbies who don’t understand their things won’t sell without pictures, the above mentioned people who write in all capital letters or those who can’t seem to place their items in the right category. You police the Craigslist website for free.

You reply to all types of posts on Craigslist, including open jobs, because you have nothing better to do. You do this because you are bored, have nothing better to do, and because you are curious if you will come across someone you know. You might even enjoy playing around with some people by sending them even more messages when they don’t respond the first time…even though you aren’t interested at all in what they have to offer.

You read the Craigslist personals section even though you are married. In fact, you aren’t even looking for that special someone or even someone to have a fun night with. What exactly is it that you are doing? One, you are trying to see if you know anyone who posted a personal ad. Second, you have fun trying to envision the person behind the ad; after all, they can’t be as hot as they say they are…right?
