Digital cameras on Craigslist, cheap cameras, Craigslist nationwide, Craigslist search programs

Are you looking to buy a cheap camcorder or digital camera? If so, you can visit Craigslist.org to find good deals, but what do you need to know before buying?

Not all digital cameras come with internal storage. There is often a separate storage card needed. Unfortunately, many camera owners like to keep these cards, as most are interchangeable between cameras. Before buying a digital camera or even a camcorder, ask about data storage. Will you need to purchase additional accessories, like a storage card or is one included? Luckily, they are cheap, but they will increase the cost of your digital camera, like a Canon.

When bought new, most digital cameras and video recorders come with USB cables. These are designed to connect the device to the computer, where you can upload your pictures or movies. It is also common for these USB cables to be interchangeable between other devices. A seller may decide to keep the cable. Then, you are left trying to find a replacement. Honestly, it is best to buy all electronics with the needed cables and accessories. It cost less and there is less hassle later down the road for you.

Make sure you are buying a relatively new digital camera or video recorder. Over the past few years, technology has advanced and so have digital cameras and camcorders. For digital cameras, like a Kodak or Canon, a 3 or 4 mega pixel device will work, but you want more. It is also better to opt for a combination digital and optical zoom, as this tends to result in better pictures and better resizing.

Always compare costs first. If you are buying a camera or video recorder from Craigslist, you are likely buying used. Many sellers don’t fully understand that used should cost less. In fact, you should pay around half the cost of new. Don’t be surprised when walking through Best Buy that you paid $250 for a used Samsung DVD Camcorder with a 2.7” LCD Monitor when you could have bought it new for just $30 more.

By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should walk away from Craigslist.org with a quality, yet affordable picture or video device. To increase your chances of finding a good deal, download the free Craigslist Reader at MotionT.com. Don’t just search one city page at a time. This free software allows you to search multiple cities, entire states, or all of Craigslist at once!

Carefully read all used car listings on Craigslist.org. After performing a search, you will see a list of for sale vehicles that had your search phrase in their listing or headline. For example, if you searched for Mustangs, you will see a list of all for sale Ford Mustangs in your area. You want to click on each headline for more information. Don’t just focus on the price, but the quality too. Your goal should be to get a quality car, truck, van, or jeep for an affordable price.
