Cheap clothes, used clothes on Craigslist, Craigslist deals, Craigslist nationwide, Craigslist.org

If you are on a budget, buying new clothes may seem out of the question. You just don’t have enough money to spend. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have new-to-you clothes. Craigslist.org is a popular classified website where many items are bought and sold, including used clothes. The goods news? You will usually find great deals and low prices.

When buying used clothes on Craigslist, always ask to see pictures. A seller should include a few pictures in their posting, but not all do. It is a waste of time to drive and meet with a buyer, only to find clothes you would never wear. Save time and ask to see pictures first. If the buyer doesn’t want to post pictures on Craigslist.org, have them email the pictures. If they still refuse to do this, run in the other direction, as they likely have something to hide.

Consider buying your clothes in groups or lots. When a seller has a large collection of items, such as 10 pairs of size 6 jeans, she is unlikely to create a for sale listing for each pair of jeans. Although free, it takes time. Instead, she is likely to list all of the jeans as one group in one single listing. Many times, you have the option to buy the jeans individually or purchase the entire set. Most sellers give entire set buyers a good discount. For example, instead of paying $80 for a pair of 8 jeans, you can get all 10 pairs for the same price.

Ask about stains. With clothes, you must be careful when buying. Clothes are easy to stain and many of these stains aren’t noticeable in pictures. Outright ask the Craigslist seller if the clothes in question are stained, ripped, or have other problems. If you have experience tailoring clothes, go ahead and buy these items, but make sure you get a discount. Never pay full price for used clothes, especially those in poor shape.

The same tips above also apply to clothing accessories, such as boots, belts, jewelry, and handbags. To find the best deals with ease, download the free Craigslist Reader, available at MotionT.com. This free software program enables you to search all of Craigslist, entire states, or multiple cities at once, a feature currently not found on Craigslist.org.

Carefully read all used car listings on Craigslist.org. After performing a search, you will see a list of for sale vehicles that had your search phrase in their listing or headline. For example, if you searched for Mustangs, you will see a list of all for sale Ford Mustangs in your area. You want to click on each headline for more information. Don’t just focus on the price, but the quality too. Your goal should be to get a quality car, truck, van, or jeep for an affordable price.
