Home cleaners on Craigslist, housekeepers on Craigslist, Craigslist services, Craigslist search tips

If you are like many Americans, you are pressed for time. It may seem as if you barely have enough time to breathe, let alone clean your house. You may want to hire the services of a household cleaner, but how can you find one? How can you ensure you make the right choice?

Familiarize yourself with the best ways to find local cleaners. This is the first step; know where to look. Honestly, there are two good options. They are word-of-mouth and Craigslist.org. With word-of-mouth, you usually hear about a cleaner from someone who has used their services before. As for Craigslist, it is free to advertise a service offered. Unlike posting an advertisement in a newspaper, it is free; therefore, you will find more choices.

Determine how much you are willing to pay. This will make it easier to find a home cleaning service or a cleaner. They charge varying rates. These rates are usually outlined on Craigslist. Pay close attention to those you can afford and avoid cleaners with rates that are too high. It is common to see hourly rates, but it may also depend on the job. In this case, setup a free consultation appointment first.

Decide if you want to hire an individual person or a cleaning service. There are pros and cons to each. Cleaning services hire their workers, monitor their progress, and often perform background checks. However, you may get a different cleaner each week. With an individual offering their cleaning services independently, you get the same person each week. You can develop a good, ongoing business relationship with someone that you can count on.

Don’t sign a contract right away. Not all home cleaners are created equal. Some do an okay job, others do a good job, and most will do a great job. Ensure you are getting the best value for your money and truly a clean home. If you hire a cleaner without a contract, you can terminate their services for any reason, including poor performance.

As previously stated Craigslist is a great way to find house cleaners. You may want to search more than just your local city page to get the most choices. Unfortunately, you can’t do this right now. What you do though is download the Craigslist Reader for free at MotionT.com.

Carefully read all used car listings on Craigslist.org. After performing a search, you will see a list of for sale vehicles that had your search phrase in their listing or headline. For example, if you searched for Mustangs, you will see a list of all for sale Ford Mustangs in your area. You want to click on each headline for more information. Don’t just focus on the price, but the quality too. Your goal should be to get a quality car, truck, van, or jeep for an affordable price.
